《詩經》是現存世界文學中最早的詩歌文本，其中有些詩作已有三千年之久。全球知名的海洋生物學家賈福相先生，閒暇時研讀詩經十餘年，悟出隱藏在詩經文字背後的生物密碼與天地自然律令，遂將國風一百六十篇反覆咀嚼，逐篇譯成白話中文和英文，於2008年出版了《詩經國風：英文白話新譯》。在北美各地推廣該書之餘，又繼續創作出《把詩還給詩經》這本雙語小書跟讀者介紹並推廣詩經並提供西方教中文、中國教英文的語言學校師生參考。
